Blumenthal Richter & Sumet (BRS) supported the first-ever “Pitch for Purpose Challenge” at International School Bangkok (ISB), an initiative that empowers students to launch socially impactful projects.
BRS Senior Partner and ISB Board Chair Andreas Richter presented a grant to the winning team, FacTs, during ISB’s community service assembly. Their project tackles the environmental and social impact of fast fashion through a partnership with Second Chance Bangkok, a social enterprise that upcycles donated goods and supports women in the Khlong Toei community.
The student-led FacTs team impressed the judges with their creativity and commitment to sustainability and community empowerment. With the BRS grant, they can scale their efforts through events, advocacy, and volunteer engagement.
“At BRS, we solve challenges through collaboration across cultures and disciplines,” said Andreas Richter. “It is inspiring to see ISB students doing the same—leading with purpose and taking action for good. We are proud to support them.”
BRS congratulates the student organizers, faculty, and judges who made the challenge a success and looks forward to seeing the continued impact of the Pitch for Purpose Challenge and future changemakers.
