MEET THE TEAM
Like most countries, Thailand has strict laws governing immigration and foreign employment. Our immigration lawyers provide fast, reliable and practical legal advice and assist clients across all industries and professions. We assist our corporate clients on visa and work permit requirements related to foreign personnel employment arrangements, international personnel transfers and secondments.

At Blumenthal Richter & Sumet (BRS), we possess deep expertise in guiding both domestic and multinational corporations in Thailand through the complexities of the Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (2019) (“PDPA”). Our comprehensive services include conducting gap assessments to identify and mitigate data privacy risks, developing and refining related documentation, delivering tailored training sessions, and performing PDPA compliance checks to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable laws.

Our Services Include:

I. PDPA Data Inventory Mapping & Gap Analysis
• Conduct introductory briefings on PDPA principles to raise awareness among key employees about its impact on business operations.
• Assist in gathering and analyzing data on the collection, usage, storage, disclosure, and transfer of personal data by interviewing key employees and reviewing data flow practices.
• Provide a summary of findings for confirmation and offer tailored recommendations to bridge any compliance gaps.

II. PDPA Compliance Implementation
• Draft and update consent clauses, privacy notices, and other critical documents to ensure they meet PDPA standards.
• Supply standard templates and review existing documentation, such as consent forms, privacy policies, and agreements, to ensure full compliance with Thai PDPA requirements.

• Develop and deliver PDPA training materials tailored to our clients’ organization, including awareness sessions for key personnel.
• Conduct enterprise-wide training to ensure a clear understanding of data protection responsibilities across all departments.
